‘the trail of the elves’ – το μονοπάτι των ξωτικών (annex – παραρτημα)

Hello readers!

I considered the matter suspended and I didn’t intend to add anything else. Only that all of a sudden today I remembered that I had seen somewhere the name of the village “Pigi” written on a sign in funny letters… Where? Where else? My photos in Flickr !

Without being aware at the time of what I was looking at (it so happens) and only looking at what I was taking a photo of (it so happens), I realized today that I had in my hands solid evidence that Angelos is already sending hikers in the “elvish trail” of the two monasteries!

This is the photo of the sign. One of the planks reads:

(btw, a beautiful sign -looks as if it has always been there -as if grown out of the trunk of the pine tree)

Alors, mon cher Angelos, that was not just :::__a survey__::::

You have actually started work -all in secret, haven’t you? Or are you just testing the ground? see if there are problems, waiting for objections, gossip, whispers ?

Dr Livingstone, what’s on your *mind* ?

How many years did it take Stanley to find Livingstone, did you say?
Oh, seriously now, El, you guessed right. I put the sign to test ‘the ground’ -both natural and social (public opinion). See what comes up. (Don’t you do the same?)
Mostly I made it for my own self-motivation: ‘I put a sign, so I must make the path’ sort of thing.

P.S. ευχαριστώ Νανούλα. Είσαι πιο μικρή μας κι η πιο καλή μας, η πιο “ωραία περιπατήτρια”. Με τέτοια άτομα σαν κι εσένα στα πέριξ… ΟΛΑ ΤΖΑΜΠΑ … Πάρε κόσμε, μονοπάτια! Το αφεντικό τρελάθηκε!
