Talking about deep dens, this was my Miliopo. Taken on my way from the port of Agios Kirikos, these three were the first intended and deliberate shots I took in Ikaria.

A very interesting thing about Miliopo is not so that we often camp down in the ravine and the beach in the summer…

it’s also that in the same ravine but much higher above the tiny village a visitor a lucky climber may see find the ruins of a very old beautifully ornamented byzantine chapel! Oh the mysteries of Ikaria!
